Expanish Young Adults (16-20)

If you’re looking for a true Spanish immersion experience in Barcelona, there’s no better option than staying with a host family. You’ll stay in a single room in the family’s home. Bed linens and towels are included, and you’ll also have free Wi-Fi and access to the washing machine (just pay for detergent). This option includes half-board, so you can practise chatting in Spanish with your family during mealtimes. Host families are located a maximum of a 35-minute journey by public transport from the school. 

Please note that students aged 16-17 must book the host family option (with curfew at 11:00 pm), and that airport transfers are compulsory if they travel alone (unaccompanied by an adult) which must be booked at an additional price.

Yugo Garbi student residence is in the scenic neighbourhood of Sants-Montjuic and is perfect for students to experience the vibrant lifestyle and beauty that Barcelona is known for. The residence is in a modern building, just 18 minutes from class via metro. Students can expect a single room with a desk, kitchenette, WIFI and ensuite bathroom. While there are no shared kitchens, students will have a half-board plan of breakfast and dinner offered by the residence. Students can use an app to pay for the onsite laundry facilities and will be provided with linens and towels which are changed regularly. The property has a weekly room cleaning service at no additional cost. Yugo Garbi is the perfect place to make new friends, with multiple shared facilities such as a leisure room, cinema, study room, coworking space, and gym.
