At the CIEL language school in Brest, the students are welcomed in a green and quiet environment, perfect to study and relax. The school occupies a beautiful 19th century house, surrounded by a big park. An impressive doorstep, which offers a beautiful panoramic view, will lead you to a large inner courtyard. From there you will be able to get to the school’s facilities: the language lab, the computer room, the multimedia library, the video room, ping-pong tables and the cafeteria. Host family

Totally immersed in the French language, you are going to discover Breton traditions within a welcoming host family that has been carefully selected by CIEL. You will have many opportunities to practice the French language: during the meals, the excursions with your hosts, during the evenings spent in the living room… You will improve your communication skills on a daily basis without even being aware of it! You will be accommodated in a single room, with half board, except on the weekend (full board).

University residence

For those who want to be in a student atmosphere, Brest’s CIEL language school can book a room in the student residence of the University of Brest campus, located 10 minutes away from the city centre and 20 minutes away from the train station by bus. There, you will have a small single room with private bathroom and you will share the laundry room with the other students. The residence also has a study room and a TV lounge where you will be able to meet other French and foreign students. You will be able to have your meals in the university restaurant (closed in July and August and use the kitchenettes if you have your own kitchenware.
