If you wish to immerse yourself in Scottish culture and put into practice what you will have learned in class, then staying with a host family is the ideal solution. You will stay in a single or double room with half board provided and the option of no board for students travelling alone. Carefully selected by our partner school, your host family will usually be between 20 and 45 minutes on average from the school by bus (maximum travel time 60 minutes during high season). On request, you can also choose to have a private bathroom.

Your home from home in the city centre! Just a 20-minute stroll away from the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle and Princess Street, you’ll be ideally situated. Enjoy the privacy of your cozy en-suite room in a 5-to-7-bedroom apartment, where you will also have the chance to socialize in the shared kitchen/lounge space with your new friends.

Other common areas include a large common room with a pool table, TV area and café-style study areas – perfect for some mingling with other international students!

This residence is a 17-minute bus ride from the school and in the perfect location for any international student in Edinburgh, whether you’re looking to explore the culture, the history, the parties, or all of the above! Your private studio apartment will be a calm oasis from the vibrant atmosphere of Edinburgh, equipped with a double bed, under-bed storage, free Wi-Fi, a desk, an ensuite bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. You’ll be provided with linen, but you should bring your own towels, both of which can be cleaned for a fee using the onsite facilities. During your time in this residence, you’ll be expected to keep your own spaces clean and cook your own meals. While you have the option of privacy in your room, the residence organises plenty of social events for you to make friends. Once you’ve made your new friends, you can socialise in the communal lounge and gaming area or workout in the onsite gym. 

Spend your time in Edinburgh in a social atmosphere right next to a popular entertainment complex with a cinema, bowling alley, gym, and food court – all just a 34-minute walk from the school. You will have a single room in a five-bedroom flat, with a shared lounge area to socialise with your housemates and a shared kitchen which you will need to use to cater for yourself. Each room has a small double bed, a wardrobe, mirror, storage space, desk, and chair – you will also have access to an ensuite bathroom. The residence has shared laundry facilities, which you can use for a fee – linen will be provided, but students will be responsible for washing it and cleaning their own room. There are plenty of shared facilities for students to enjoy – including study areas, pool tables, a cinema room, and a gym.
