What better way to learn English in Oxford than to practise every day with a host family? If you’re looking for an authentic English immersion experience, host families are a great way to get to know the locals and learn more about the culture, sharing dinner and day-to-day life together. Host families offer you a single room (or double for students travelling together) and will usually be between 25 and 50 minutes on average from the school by bus (maximum travel time 60 minutes during high season), well-connected with local public transport. There is half board every day or the option of no board for students travelling alone, and laundry service (once a week) is included, along with bed linen and towels.

This residence is perfect for students who want to plug straight into the vibrant student scene of Oxford, on the doorstep of the lively Cowley Road, just a 30-minute bus ride from the school. Students will be placed in a shared 4-bedroom apartment with a shared lounge and a fully stocked shared kitchen. Each room has an en suite bathroom, storage space, desk, lamp, chair and WIFI. The residence will provide students with linen, but they will be responsible for cleaning it themselves for a fee using the onsite laundry facilities – it’s recommended that students bring their own towel. Students will be encouraged to be independent; they will need to cater for themselves and keep their own space clean. Between classes, students can socialise and relax with their new friends in the shared common room.
